Pat is constantly extolling the virtues of aromatized wines. Finally, we have a guest who will actually agree with him and won’t just make fun of him. Jake Parrott is a friend of the pod and the Whiskey Hotline and is also the national sales director of Haus Alpenz. What Jake sells, and Pat loves, is woefully esoteric. It’s the spooky time of year, so it’s time to talk about Halloween beers and Halloween cocktails. A cocktail episode means that Greg and Pat get to hang out while Roger makes them cocktails. And Chris will make his own while spending way too much time crafting the garnish.

El Diablo cocktail, an unconventional blend of Tequila, Crème de Cassis, lime and ginger beer. It’s a surprisingly delicious cocktail recipe invented by Vic Bergeron aka Trader Vic. We use Añejo Tequila, Jules Theuriet Cassis and Fever Tree ginger beer.

If witches had a favorite cocktail, this is what we imagine it would be. Our Black Raspberry Martini is full of jammy raspberry flavors and just the right amount of citrus and vanilla sweetness. This recipe is great to batch for festive get-togethers, or sip on while trick or treaters ring your door bell. *Cackles*

This cocktail is as basic as it gets. Our Pumpkin Old Fashioned is a fantastic mix of candy apple, cinnamon and fresh baked pie flavors. It's sweet, but not too sweet. This is one cocktail you'll want to serve up this fall. Best paired with furry boots and a plaid shirt.
