You bought some absinthe for a cocktail, but now what do you do with the rest of the bottle?

Last week it was new wines, this week it's new spirits. Pat once again overdid it and brought too many new items for us to sample.

We're joined by design icon and fashion mogul Vera Wang for an exploration of her new, limited edition Chopin vodka.

Originally, the Sazerac cocktail was made with French brandy. In 1873, the recipe for the Sazerac Cocktail was altered to replace the French brandy with American Rye whiskey. We decided to recreate the original with Hennessy Cognac - plus ginger syrup, a few dashes of barrel aged bitters, and of course, a heavy absinthe rinse.

The Vesper is a cocktail famously knows as James Bond's signature cocktail. It is gin forward with citrus and sweet flavors. A Tried-and-true classic - this cocktail isn't for the weak. It's strong, mighty and may cause chest hair growth.

The Godmother is a smooth, subtly sweet cocktail that delivers effortless sophistication with every sip. This elegant mix combines crisp vodka with the rich, almond-kissed flavor of Disaronno, creating a perfectly balanced drink that’s both light and indulgent.
