Binny's Home Bartender: Despierta En Jalisco

For those special times when buenas noches is never uttered, and before you know it, buenos días is the proper phrase. Or, perhaps, when you have managed to squeeze in 43 winks, tossing and turning through sueños de tequila, as leather winged pollinators flit to late night agave rendezvous through the cool desert air. Or when you have the afternoon agave blues. You might just find yourself in need of a little potent pick-me-up. That is, you may require a dose of artificial energy, that also takes the edge off, when you are waking up with The Byrds. Or, really, any time of day. Afterall, son las cinco en algún lugar.
Well, mis amigos, that is what Despierta en Jalisco is all about. It’s an eye opening cross between an espresso martini and a Mexican carajillo that enlivens the day and brightens the night. Cantera Negra’s award winning coffee liqueur is the magic ingredient. Throw in a shot of strong espresso and bring extra sweetness, vanilla and spice with a splash of Licor 43 and - Qué rico!
Salud!
