For brewers, lagers are a labor of love. As much as brewing is an art, it is also a science, and producing a clean and satisfying lager is no easy task.

Each year the number of Christmas beers continues to grow. Cold winter weather and decadent dinner parties have inspired everything from rich roasty porters and stouts, to spicy winter warmers and barleywines.

Bourbon may officially be America's spirit, and the 4th of July our celebration of independence, but two important traditions existed at least as early, if not before.

Originally, the Sazerac cocktail was made with French brandy. In 1873, the recipe for the Sazerac Cocktail was altered to replace the French brandy with American Rye whiskey. We decided to recreate the original with Hennessy Cognac - plus ginger syrup, a few dashes of barrel aged bitters, and of course, a heavy absinthe rinse.

Lavender in the Rye is one of our new favorite rye whiskey cocktails and an absolute crowd pleaser. The lavender bitters and sugar cane syrup are excellent additions to the rye.

With all the amazing new beers on the market today it's easy to overlook some of the classics. We're delighted to announce the return of two classic German breweries.

If witches had a favorite cocktail, this is what we imagine it would be. Our Black Raspberry Martini is full of jammy raspberry flavors and just the right amount of citrus and vanilla sweetness. This recipe is great to batch for festive get-togethers, or sip on while trick or treaters ring your door bell. *Cackles*

This cocktail is as basic as it gets. Our Pumpkin Old Fashioned is a fantastic mix of candy apple, cinnamon and fresh baked pie flavors. It's sweet, but not too sweet. This is one cocktail you'll want to serve up this fall. Best paired with furry boots and a plaid shirt.
