What is the Union des Grands Crus (UGC)?
Established in 1973, the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux is an organization that promotes the top estates of Bordeaux through wine tastings in key markets around the world.
What do I get for the admission price of $100?
The opportunity to take part in the most exclusive Bordeaux event in the Midwest – In an incredible showcase of the current vintage, you will have access to many of the owners and representatives of the more than 90 estates taking part.
Is there a dress code policy?
Business casual attire is recommended.
Will there be any ticket sales at the door?
No, ticket sales will be on a pre-sell basis only. We fully expect this event to sell out early so please get your tickets at your earliest convenience.
What is the refund policy?
In the unlikely circumstance that the event is canceled, full refunds will be issued. Any individual cancellations, if received with 48 hours' notice or more, will be refunded.
Are the wines listed on your website?
All of the wines being showcased are from the 2020 vintage. A list of participating chateaux can be viewed here.
Do I have to be a Binny's Card Member?
No. But Binny's card members will find out about this exclusive event before the general public. We expect this event to sell out, so get your tickets at your earliest convenience.
Will there be food at the event?
An array of charcuterie will accompany the wines.
Can I order the wines there?
Yes, the wines will be orderable at the event on a Futures basis - with a 6-bottle minimum per wine. Wines are scheduled to arrive in the U.S. sometime in 2023. All orders will be subject to confirmation due to availability and currency fluctuation.
Is there a special ticket for designated drivers?
No, there will be no designated driver tickets for this event.
