Wine Cruvinet

2017 Diablo Creek Bourbon Barrel Aged Red Blend

Parlier, California
“Opens with flavors of lush black cherries, raspberry jam and red licorice. After aging in Bourbon barrels for 2 months, the rich palate leads with aromas of vanilla, spice and subtle char ending with a long and lingering finish."
$5

2012 Chateau Daugay Saint Emilion

Bordeaux, France
"This is a hedonistic, juicy, voluptuous style of wine with a dark ruby, plum/purple color, easygoing tannin, and a nice plump, round mouthfeel with plenty of pleasure. This is the kind of St.-Emilion that consumers love.”
$6

2016 Lemelson Thea’s Selection Pinot Noir

Willamette, Oregon
"Dark cherries and toasted spices make for a captivating nose with plenty of immediate interest. The deeply rich dark-cherries on the palate are cast along fluid, long and sturdy tannin lines."
$7

2009 La Rioja Alta Ardanza Reserva

Labastida Spain
"It was initially closed, shy and serious, riper and a little darker than the 2008 but still very balanced, serious and harmonious. The palate combines power with elegance, with some tannins, focused flavors, some chalky texture and a rustic touch that gives it character."
$8

2016 Mullineaux Syrah

Malmesbury, South Africa
"The 2016 Syrah is 100% whole-bunch fruit, and I think this gives it the edge over the 2015. It has a very fresh, focused nose with more edginess than the previous vintage, offering touches of peppermint and dried herbs. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin - quite a cool customer, presenting a longer, precise finish."
$9

2015 Herman Story Late Bloomer

Paso Robeles, California
"Dirt and wood chips stick to your feet and probably your hair, but somewhere hidden in these pines, a fire’s waiting. When you sat on the rocks with Robbie Vanderberg, his sticky blackberry-stained fingers, the breeze off the water, now it’s all fading away between a flickering bonfire, and a flask you’ve been passed, sweet bourbon."
$10

2017 Faust Cabernet Sauvignon

Napa Valley, California
"The 2017 Faust Cabernet is a blend of vineyards in Coombsville and Rutherford and sourcing in Atlas Peak, Mount Veeder and Howell Mountain. Intense yet fresh with juicy blue and black notes. Notes of dark chocolate and dried herbs seduce the palate while silky tannins and lifting acidity leads to a layered and lingering finish."
$10

2014 Chateau De Beaucastel Chateauneuf De Pape

Rhône, France
"The full-bodied, dense 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape seems a bit closed at the moment, but Asian five spice powder still brings plenty of complexity and nuance to the rich, dark fruit aromas and flavors. Multidimensional, layered and long, this is another terrific vintage for Beaucastel's main cuvée, perhaps falling just slightly behind the 2016 and 2018."
$15

2018 Gerard & Pierre Morin Sancerre

Burgundy, France
"Made from grapes of Pinot Noir planted on limey soils. Pressing directly after picking to obtain lots of finesse and very light color. Fermentation in tanks, wine kept on lees for 3 months."
$6

2018 Chateau Margui Provence Rosé

Provence, France
"A classic Provençal mix of fruit and savor, propelled by great minerality and acid-driven energy. In the glass, salmon-pink with coppery reflections at the rim. Aromas of grapefruit, white peach, lavender, wild herbs and a spicy hint of orange rind."
$7

2018 Bow & Arrow Melon Johan Vinyard Natural

Willamette, Oregon
"Another way to say it is Melon, the grape that makes Muscadet, is the poor man's White Burgundy. Melon expresses terroir in a subtle and complex way. It has an affinity for granite, and Johan is the only vineyard in the Willamette Valley with both."
$5

2018 Inama Vignwto Du Lot Soave Classico

Verona, Italy
"Real Soave with dried apples and pears and hints of cooked mangoes and lemons. Medium to full body. Fruity and bright."
$6

2017 Gary Farrell Chardonnay, Russian River

Sonoma County, California
"This is a wonderfully tart, textured and mineral-driven white from multiple sites across the appellation. Crisp apple and pear wrap around a core of lemon, nutmeg and lemongrass, finishing on a bite of wet stone."
$8

2016 Joh Jos Christoffel Erben Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Spatlese

Germany
"Strawberry and quince preserves on the nose anticipate the jammy ripeness and honeyed aura exhibited on a glossy, glycerol-rich palate. At the same time, though, there is a juicy fresh-fruit side to the strawberries and a stimulatingly seedy crunch. An alluring inner-mouth influx of honeysuckle and lily-of-the-valley perfume contributes to the bell-clear, at once soothing and tingling finish."
$8

2018 Cade Sauvignon Blanc

Napa, California
"Vivid and distinctive, with passion fruit, lime and Meyer lemon flavors that mingle with details of honeysuckle and lemon thyme, finding harmony on the refreshing finish."
$9

2018 Jean Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis Vaillons

Burgundy, France
"This blend of five different plots sees a small amount of oak – 25% in a mix of new to six-year-old barrels. Attractive white peach, lime and lemon on the nose. A supple palate, fresh and almost crunchy, and quite contained with lemons and white peaches throughout."
$10

Gramona La Cuvee

Barcelona, Spain – 2015
"2015 was a very dry year, so the grapes for the 2015 La Cuvee were harvested quite early to avoid overripeness. It's a blend of 55% Xarello, 30% Macabeo and 10%. It has nutty aromas, hints of fennel and even licorice, and it's balanced and poised for such a vintage and also quite dry for a brut."
$5

Bisol Prosecco Crede

Italy – 2017
"Brilliant straw yellow with lime-green highlights and a fine and persistent perlage. Wild flowers; balanced intensity; fresh and elegant. Finishes with a pleasant fruitiness. True to the bouquet in its fruity notes of apples and pears; its balance is rounded off by its rich and fine taste."
$6

Renardat Fache Cerdon Bugey Rosé

France – 2018
"Renardat's Cerdon is delicate, berry-scented, refreshing, and makes a delicious aperitif or dessert wine (even chocolate goes well with it)."
$6

Heidsieck Monopole Blue Top Brut

Champagne, France – NV
"Well-defined and energetic, with racy acidity driving flavors of fresh-cut apple, black cherry, candied lemon zest and a richer note of pear financier. Offers a fresh, minerally finish."
$8

Andre Clouet Brut Rosé

Ambonnay, France - NV
"Vivid orange-pink. Aromas and flavors of ripe red berries, candied rose and toasty lees. Fleshy but nervy and focused, with strong mineral cut and hints of bitter herbs on the very long, energetic finish. Smoothly blends richness and vivacity, making it extremely flexible with food or without."
$11

Marguet Shama 15 Grand Cru Extra Brut

Champagne, France - NV
"Very light yellow, moderate intensity in the nose, with bone dry, crisp clean lemon and honeysuckle."
$12
