Too smoky
Reviewed by: VV | September 12, 2016
The first glass seems extremely overpowering. Later I did enjoy it but not as much as the other scotches in the price range.

I took a sip of this at a local pub.... Could have it been a bad bottle? I have to agree with the reviewers below who didn't appreciate the nose, the taste or the finish.

Smooth Peaty Goodness
Reviewed by: Kara | December 10, 2015
A lady's review, @skaralass age 38: The first time I tried Laphroaig 10, was the last time I wanted another scotch. I love its peaty flavor, reminds me of campfires. It is very smooth and has a wonderful smokey after taste. Truly great with Steak and Potatoes. I am a huge fan!! Slainte Mhath!

Classic Islay
Reviewed by: sparagi | September 14, 2015
Not for everyone due to the peetiness, but it's the quintessential Islay. Needs an extra ice cube relative to the older bottles, but it's very good for the under $50 category.
