Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Villages 2015

Size Pack
750 ml
Case of 12

The 2015 Beaujolais Villages has an attractive dark cherry and blueberry-scented bouquet, more floral compared to the 2015 Beaujolais, a pleasant summer warmth coming from the glass. The palate is well balanced with crisp black cherries and blackberry fruit, well judged acidity, the finish a little compact at the moment but clean and slightly sappy. This is a fine Beaujolais to sip and enjoy over the next couple of summers. Or winters. -Neal Martin, #226, Aug 2016

A single-vineyard wine, this is soft and ripe. It has strong black-cherry fruit and crisp acidity. Minerality from the granite soil of the vineyard gives the wine a tight, firm texture. It could do with a few more months before drinking, so wait until early 2017. -Roger Voss, Nov 2016
