Rosés are one of our most popular items and as summer approaches, it's the perfect time to enjoy these easy-drinking, quaffable wines.But they're great any time of the year as well.

It’s that time again, the frigid winter winds make way for the pleasant breezes of spring, and everything seems to come back to life. In the industry, we know it as rosé season. You may start to notice the selections expand, filled with rosy hued wines from various regions. The difference between selections is not always clear, so we’re here to discuss some of the more popular regions creating rosé today.

We love a good tasting experiment on Barrel to Bottle, so this week we're making Manhattans. A lot of Manhattans. So many Manhattans that we can't keep track of how many we're making. We tried 21 different bitters to see which one makes the best Manhattan.

IPAs can be a bit polarizing. Some people love them, some people hate them. Some people miss the classic bitter IPAs, while some people love searching out the latest hazy IPA with some new, experimental hop combo they’ve never had before. India Pale Ale – an old-school English beer style that American craft brewers made their own. West Coast, New England, Imperial, Black, White and Rye - the variations on this popular style are nearly endless.

Originally, the Sazerac cocktail was made with French brandy. In 1873, the recipe for the Sazerac Cocktail was altered to replace the French brandy with American Rye whiskey. We decided to recreate the original with Hennessy Cognac - plus ginger syrup, a few dashes of barrel aged bitters, and of course, a heavy absinthe rinse.
