We’ve sung their praises before, and we’re here to do it again. From the refreshingly satisfying wild and sour ales of Bruery Terreux to the intriguingly complex and innovative beers of The Bruery, we’re always excited to taste their latest creations. This week we have two tantalizingly tropical beers. One tart, one sweet – both delicious.

The Bruery

The Bruery Terreux Frucht: Passionfruit

Once revered by the people of Berlin, Berliner Weisse is a refreshingly tart style of wheat beer that nearly faded from existence. Thankfully American craft brewers embraced this forgotten German gem with open arms. Bruery Terreux’s Frucht series introduces different fruits to a snappy Berliner style base. Passion Fruit is naturally tart, so this offering is extra tangy. Give this a try with some tuna poke or Kumamoto oysters. *Supplies are limited. Please call your local Binny’s for inventory.

The Bruery Guava Libre collaboration with Funky Buddha

Florida’s Funky Buddha shares The Bruery’s passion for experimenting with unconventional adjuncts and flavor combinations. Guava Libre is an imperial cream ale that transforms pastelitos de guayaba (Cuban guava pastries) into liquid form. The nose is incredible, exuding freshly cut guava, pineapple and vanilla. Soft and smooth across the palate, it’s rich and juicy with a lasting tropical finish. *Supplies are limited. Please call your local Binny’s for inventory. Not available in Champaign or Bloomington.   Check out the Beer Buzz for updates on new beer, tastings, sales and more!
