ReaperAle: To Die For Brewery Hits Our Shelves
Posted: April 07, 2009
Yesterday I talked about a brewery new to Binny's that is fixated with being organic and drinking naked. Instead of being obsessed with nakedness like Eel River brewery, todays feature brewery, ReaperAle, is obsessed with death. ReaperAle is the latest stellar micro brewery from California to make its way to the Midwest, and can now be found at Binnys. ReaperAle is located in Lake Elsinore, which is in one of the southern most counties in California. If ReaperAles fixation with death isnt evident from the name of the brewery, maybe the names of their beers will confirm this for you. Right now Binnys is featuring three of the ReaperAle beers, which are listed below. Deathly Pale Ale, 6.2% ABV "With a very complex blend of citric fruitiness and floral overtones, this beer has a very pleasing dry hop taste that enhances its already stellar drinkability." Mortality Stout, 7.5% ABV "Nearly solid black in color, this is a full-flavored complex brew of dark roasted barley, malt, and a hint of mocha flavor. Once poured, the smoky aroma melds nicely with the creamy head for a beer drinking experience not for the timid." Redemption Red Ale, 6.6% ABV "This ale boasts a deep reddish hue, a medium body and is moderately hopped for a crisp floral finish. The subtle hint of spice and pleasing aroma creates a smooth and refreshing drinking experience." The Grim Reaper is known for taking bribes as means of avoiding your impending doom, but it shouldnt take much tricking on our part to get you to try the ReaperAle beers. They are greatly anticipated, highly rated, and a great value at $5.99 for a 22 oz bottle. Now is the perfect time to try the beers, as they will be on sale for $4.99 for a 22 oz bottle from 4/1/09-4/7/09. Feel free to let us know what you think about ReaperAles to die for beer lineup.
