  Meet Natalia, Portón US Brand Ambassador   natalia_pisco_blog1Portón’s US Brand Ambassador, Natalia Cárdenas, brings a passion for pisco, Peru’s native spirit, as she travels the country. With over 10 years as a mixologist in innovative establishments such as Balena Restaurant - a 2013 James Beard Finalist for Best New Restaurant - Natalia has been recognized in leading spirits trade publications like The Tasting Panel Magazine and Bar Business Magazine for her industry knowledge and creativity behind the bar. The Past President of the Illinois chapter of the US Bartender’s Guild (USBG), Natalia has been an industry champion dedicated to educating the trade and elevating the experience for bar patrons.   After a trip to Peru and learning about pisco, the country’s 400 year old native spirit, Natalia became captivated with the history, versatility, and mixability of this unique white spirit. She became a passionate advocate of Portón Pisco after learning of its dedication to heritage, craft, and tradition. Natalia has been responsible for executing Portón’s cocktail and mixology programs, as well as activating educational programs for key bar and retail accounts as well as distributors throughout the country.
