It's been a fun couple of weeks with appearances from Chicago all stars. The amount of community outreach and support at our new location in Evergreen Park has been more outstanding than we could ever imagine. You have all made the last two weeks unforgettable for all of us here at Binny's. Link to photo albums after the jump. BinnysRecap_blog We started the week with a visit from Blackhawks right wing Ben Smith and 670 The Score. Wednesday was an eventful day as we celebrated the grand opening of Binny's in Evergreen Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony done by none other then Da Coach himself and Evergreen Park Mayor James Sexton. The community also helped us present a donation to a beloved charity on the southside, Christmas Without Cancer. With the donations from the night and our contribution, Christmas Without Cancer took home just under $15,000. Yeah, we couldn't believe it either. We ended the week with a meet and greet with the great Danimal. Dan Hampton stopped by with his adorable son to greet more than 150+ people for an eventful afternoon. Christmas Without Cancer Did you celebrate Ditka Day? We sure did, with a special signing at our Highland Park location this past Wednesday. More than 250 people lined up to shake Da Coach's hand and get a bottle of his fantastic wine signed. Donations were collected and over $3,300 was raised for The Foundation for Retinal Research. A big thank you to everyone who came out to see Mike!
