These are historic times. The wait is finally over and our boys in blue are back in the series. Now it’s time to make sure our fridges and coolers are fully stocked and ready to go come gameday. As we root on our hometown heroes, what better way to celebrate than by hoisting a refreshing craft classic brewed right here on Chicago’s Northside!

Northside Gameday Favorites

Revolution Fist City

Need a crowd pleaser for a group of thirsty fans? This bright and aromatic “Chicago Pale Ale” is a real home run. Citra hops impart their famous tropical flavor and aroma, while red wheat provides a nice soft mouthfeel and finish. A refreshing way to show Chicago pride on game day!

Goose Island Sofie

Aged in wine barrels with orange peels, Goose Island’s champagne-like Sofie is perfect for toasting a victory. Pouring golden in color with fine lacy foam, Sofie’s complex bouquet offers hints of white pepper, honeydew melon and cardamom. Light and effervescent, this refreshing farmhouse ale has a citrusy finish with just a kiss of vanilla.

Half Acre Gone Away IPA

It went away for the season, but now it’s back. Half Acre’s wildly popular Gone Away IPA returns to deliver massive west coast style hoppiness that’s citrusy, woodsy and tropical. Close your eyes and its fresh grassy hop aromas will have you thinking you’re in center field.

Metropolitan Magnetron

Originally brewed as a seasonal, Metropolitan’s German-style Schwarzbier Magnetron was so well received that they decided to brew it year-round. Jet black in color, this lager is deceptively light in body with roasty and chocolaty malt flavors culminating in a wonderfully balanced finish. We’re not the only ones who admire this impeccably brewed Schwarz, it recently received International recognition, taking home silver at the World Beer Cup!

Pipeworks Ninja vs Unicorn

Before their expansion, this brew was about as easy to find as a unicorn. Thankfully Pipeworks now pumps out enough of this golden elixir to keep its throngs of devotees happy. Piney and citrusy with a touch of tropical fruit, it’s an Imperial IPA that drinks like an IPA.
