A new season is upon us which means a whole new shelf load of beers have arrived. Here are a few we can't wait to get our hands on.
21st Amendment Toaster Pastry
21st Amendments new brewing facility is housed in a former toaster pastry factory and this brew successfully pays homage. A complex malt bill provides both biscuity and jammy notes, while a myriad of hops builds a nice fruity finish. Balanced and innovative, its easy to see how this earned a medal at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival.
Anchor Mango Wheat
From hops with bright fruit aromas, to beers brewed with actual fruits and juices, tropical flavors are popping up all over the craft beer scene. Anchors new Mango Wheat is a light and creamy sessionable blonde ale with a nice tangy finish. Apricot and mango on the nose perfectly compliment that unmistakable signature Anchor yeast and its bold fruity finish.
Lagunitas Aunt Sally
How about a hoppy sour? Aunt Sally may be sweet up front, but brace yourself for a finish that you wont soon forget. Lactic fermentation combines with bright citrusy hops to produce a brew with some serious puckering power.
Around the Bend Puffing Billy
Here is one brown ale that is sure to turn some heads. Puffing Billy is from Chicagos Around the Bend Brewing and its beauty lays within layers of malt complexity. Brewed with cocoa nibs, its rich, creamy and roasty with a delicious bittersweet finish.
Spring may just have sprung, but one of our favorite summer beers has already arrived! Oberon is a fruity and creamy wheat ale with a nice zesty finish. The arrival of this classic is a welcomed reminder that summer is not far away.
Revolution Rev Pils
Few beers are more refreshing than a well-made pilsner. Revolution is the latest American craft brewer to offer their own unique twist on this old world classic. On the nose, the Rev Pils is filled with herbaceous and grassy notes thanks to generous dry hopping. Light in body, its incredibly clean with a pronounced bitter finish. A traditional pils tweaked to satisfy an American taste for hops.
