The fruit beers keep rolling in - like watermelon
! This has been one fruit-filled summer, and its barely begun. Here are a few brand new brews along with a couple time-tested favorites!
Avery Liliko'i Kepolo
One of our absolute favorite summer refreshers of 2015 is now available year round in six packs! Averys tropical Wit Liliko'i Kepolo combines a light creamy Belgian-style Wit with Liliko'i (Hawaiian for passionfruit) producing a fruity ale with a lovely tart finish. This also makes a great mixer for rum and Tiki cocktails.
Like Averys Liliko'i, Fruli Strawberry is proof that Belgian Wit beers make an excellent canvas for bright fruit flavors. Fruli incorporates real strawberry juice into the fermentation process, producing a finished beer that blends the deliciousness of sweet strawberry jam with hints of spicy coriander and aromatic orange peel. At 4.1% ABV this is perfect summer session beer.
Stone Citrusy Wit
Thats right, another Belgian Style Wit! As we all try to keep our wits about us, rest assured this is no ordinary Wit. Besides the conventional addition of coriander, it is also brewed with kaffir lime leaf and tangerine peels. The resulting brew is light and spicy with bright citrus aromatics and a refreshingly crisp finish.
Wheat + peach = Wheach. A deliciously simple equation turned a summertime favorite into our best selling beer form OFallon. While were pleased a peach that Wheach is now available year round, a hot summer day is still our favorite time to enjoy some. Try adding a splash of fresh squeezed orange juice for a session-able take on a Fuzzy Navel.
Breckenridge Mango Mosaic
Seems like as of late when it comes to craft beer, tropical is the name of the game and Breckenridge has a winner with their new Mango Mosaic Pale Ale. We commend them on their choice of hops, few hops deliver such wonderful tropical fruit aroma and flavor better than Mosaic. Vibrant sweet mango on the nose continues on the palate and mixes well with hoppy notes of guava and pineapple.
Boulder Pulp Fusion Blood Orange
Pulp Fusion pours dark golden in color and features spicy and citrusy hop aromas. Cascade and Centennial hops provide big citrusy hop notes that blend seamlessly with the added blood oranges. Overall a very citrusy IPA with a nice clean bitter finish.
