Confessions of a Mixologist: Barrel to Bottle Beer Cocktails

Even a lazy mixologist like Pat should have no trouble making these beer cocktails from our recent Barrel to Bottle episode. Give them a try, or come up with your own twist. 

Spaghet

INGREDIENTS:

SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. Take a sip out of the bottle of Miller High Life.
  2. Pour in Cappelletti Aperitive.
  3. Squeeze lemon wedge into bottle.

Boilermaker

INGREDIENTS:

  • Shot of whiskey
  • A pint of your favorite crispy boy lager that's probably Hamm's

SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. Pour shot into beer.
  2. Stir with your favorite stirring pen.

Black Velvet

INGREDIENTS:

SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. Fill glass halfway with Champagne.
  2. Float stout on top.

Rattle Skull

INGREDIENTS:

SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. In a large beer mug or Nonic pint glass combine rum, lime juice and simple syrup. Stir.
  2. Top with beer poured down the middle of the glass to create a big, fluffy head.
  3. Quickly grate nutmeg (in desired quantity, I like a hefty dose) over the head while it is in full bloom.
  4. Garnish with lime wheel.

Diesel

INGREDIENTS:

SIMPLE STEPS:

  1. Pour half of the beer into a glass. Enjoy.
  2. Fill the rest of the glass with RC.
  3. Enjoy.
