Chicago Beer All-Stars

Revolution Anti Hero IPA

What better way to salute our nine hometown all-stars than with this champion of the Chicago Craft beer scene. One of our best-selling IPAs, Revolution Anti-Hero is hard to beat. Citrusy, piney, crisp and clean, it’s hard to find an IPA with greater crowd appeal.

Two Brothers Sidekick

Where would an all-star be without his teammates? This golden extra pale ale from Warrenville is one of Two Brothers tastiest brews. Light and session-able it’s a great way to stay refreshed between innings.

Goose Island Matilda

Matilda is Goose Island’s homage to the Belgian classic Orval. Spicy on the nose, this fruity ale is not quite as hoppy as Orval but still highlights earthy and herbaceous European hops. Bottle conditioned with Brett, it grows drier, earthier and more complex with time, so buy a little extra to open in October.

Pipeworks Ninja vs. Unicorn

Before their expansion, this brew was about as easy to find as a unicorn. Thankfully Pipeworks now pumps out enough of this golden elixir to keep its throngs of devotees happy. Piney and citrusy with a touch of tropical fruit, it’s an imperial IPA that drinks like an IPA.

Lagunitas A Little Sumpin'

Sometimes those close nail biters call for something a little stronger, and Lagunitas knows a thing or two about big beer. This beauty is a crafty devil, it clocks in at 7.5% but it’s so light and refreshing you’d never guess it.

Half Acre Daisy Cutter

Looking for a crowd pleaser for your group of thirsty fans? This bright, snappy pale ale is a real home run. Close your eyes and its big grassy hop aromas will have you thinking you’re in center field.

Old Style

It’s hard to imagine a trip to the Northside without this iconic brew. Like the walls of lush ivy, this Midwestern classic has forever rooted itself into the mystique of the friendly confines.

Brickstone American Pale Ale

For our five time all-star from the south side we turn to a champion of the Illinois craft brewing scene. Gold Medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival, this juicy pale ale is generously hopped with Amarillo, Centennial and Citra hops. Bright crisp and clean, it delivers citrusy hop goodness right down the middle.

5 Rabbit 5 Lizard Witbier

Another GABF gold medal winner, the South Side’s 5 Rabbit Cerveceria’s unique twist on a Belgian Wit substitutes lime for the traditional orange peel and adds passionfruit for a tart tropical finish. Smooth and satisfying, it’s as refreshing as a quick three up and three down.   Check out the Beer Buzz for updates on new beer, tastings, sales and more!
