American craft brewers are famous for innovation, from blurring stylistic lines, using bold new hops or adding unique herbs, fruits and spices. Wisconsin Brewing Company’s new beer Blister in the Sun is a perfect example of this kind of ingenuity, with the bold hop profile of IPA, the creaminess of Belgian Wit and the crisp finish of lager all rolled into one exceptional brew. We had never heard of an India White Lager before, but we’re glad we discovered this one. This spirit of experimentation inspired us to craft some beer cocktails using this refreshing new brew.

"On paper, it's an India white lager. On your tastebuds, it's a whole new experience. A wheat lager that's fresh and fruity, with a hint of coriander and orange peel. Light in color, but brimming with an impressively hoppy depth of flavor, with a smooth, clean finish. The perfect companion for hot summer days (and nights) with friends." - Producer Review     Nelson Sauvin hops give Blister in the Sun its delicious tropical fruit character. When we tasted passion fruit, we thought of the hurricane cocktail – not the supersweet, fire engine red version of today, but the classic version featuring passion fruit and lemon juice. Try our version, featuring Blister in the Sun, and find yourself carried away by the flavors of the Caribbean.
