Binny's Welcomes Crown Valley Brewing
Once again Binnys would like to welcome a brewery to our ever-expanding beer portfolio. Crown Valley Brewing is not only new to Binnys, but also new to the brewing scene as they have only been crafting beer since 2008. The Saint Genevieve, Missouri based brewery has brought five beers with them to Illinois:
Worktruck Wheat This hefeweizen has a cloudy, unfiltered, and light straw colored appearance. It is light bodied with flavors of yeast and lemon. This is a very drinkable brew perfect for the warmer weather.
Antique Amber Lager This one has nice carbonation, and is medium bodied with a smooth feel in the mouth. It is brewed with Noble hops and German malts, creating a long and bitter finish.
Big Bison Ale A 7.2% ABV Belgian style dubbel. It is a full bodied brew that is rich with malt and flavors of dark fruit.
Old School Pilsener Sweetness and hops up front, with a grassy and bready malt flavor mid- palate. A dry and slightly bitter finish culminates this refreshing brew.
Barnwood Blonde Ale This one has a clean flavor, with flavors of grain and hints of lemon. It is crisp in the mouth, well carbonated, smooth, and easy to drink.
If you want to try any of the new to the market Crown Valley brews, be sure to stop by Binnys soon as the Crown Valley beers will be on sale for $7.99 a six-pack until Wednesday. Have you crowned any of these beers as your favorite yet?
