"While very dark in color the hue is vibrant and youthful. The nose has an abundance of ripe black fruits, predominantly Blackberry and Boysenberry. Oak aging has contributed a pleasing mélange of rich creamy caramel and maple syrup scents, with just a barely perceptible waff of smoke. The dense viscous liquid delivers all of the flavors one would expect from the aromatics. Savory and luscious the finish pleasantly persistent."
