"Dark purple, almost black in color which releases an aroma of rich French and American Oak with dark raspberry, herb de Provence, and fresh from the oven blackberry pie bouquet. Your first sip sits forward with flavors of juicy pomegranate, ripe plum, and boysenberry. As the flavors open up, you notice more Tahitian vanilla bean, dried blueberry, fig, and integrated sweet cinnamon notes. On the finish, the wine has a warm edge with light white pepper spice wrapped around rich toasted marshmallow and blackberry jam."

2012 Apothic Red

"In 2012, Apothic Red was crafted from a blend of primarily Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. These varieties come together seamlessly for a fruit-driven wine with fresh dark fruit flavors and jammy red fruit notes. The Zinfandel offers bold dark fruit flavors and spicy notes, complemented by the soft mouthfeel of Merlot. The Syrah adds layers of smooth blueberry, while the Cabernet Sauvignon delivers ripe fruit flavors and a firm structure. This decadent blend is framed by hints of oak, vanilla, and mocha."

2012 Runquist 1448 Red Blend

"The ‘1448’ has deep thick color and one would expect form a wine that is predominately Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot. The aromas feature smoky currants and concentrated black fruits. Mocha, caramel, and milk chocolate provide a sweet inviting bouquet. The flavors are big, rich and creamy. Dense ripe black fruits flow across a deeply toasted oak background. The time in small barrels contributes to the rich body and luscious mouth-feel. As with all the Jeff Runquist Wines the tannins are mature and well integrated leading to a smooth lingering finish."
