"This 2010 Zinfandel shows its Paso roots in its floral, rose petal nose, wrapped around a core of black cherry, blackberry, and classic Zinfandel white pepper. The flavors well-balanced, with wild cherry, red currant, and cranberry, matched with peppery, brambly notes. A nice array of spices lingers on the palate, from cinnamon bark to fruity ancho chile towards the finish. Medium-bodied with excellent freshness from this cool vintage, this smooth, balanced Zinfandel is a prime example of Paso Robles Zinfandel."
