Size: 750ml
Type: Red Wine
Varietal: Pinot Noir
Country: United States
Region: California, Central Coast, Sta. Rita Hills

"Bright red. Sexy aromas of black raspberry, cinnamon, minerals and potpourri; smells like there are stems here but Kathy Joseph says no. Precise and vibrant on the palate, with good nervy cut to its intense flavors of candied red berries and spicecake. Still youthfully taut and bound-up but shows excellent potential. Turns more floral with air, finishing with tangy grip and a lingering hint of Asian spices. This pinot shows impressive vivacity for its warm vintage."

"The bouquet of our 2012 Central Coast Pinot Noir is enticing; aromas of deep, dark berry spice and violets that hint at the depth of this delightful wine. Juicy black currant, plum and cherry cola flavors accent the round texture, gentle structure and soft oak undertones. This wine is extremely flavorful and a fantastic value."

2013 Belle Glos Pinot Noir Clark & Telephone Vineyard

"Deep scarlet red in color, this wine leaves little to the imagination with rich, expansive aromas of blackberry, raspberry, plum and sweet baking spices like cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The palate is similarly intense with flavors of ripe blackberries, raspberries, warm cherry pie, blueberry and fresh cranberry, perfectly balanced with velvety tannins and a smooth toasty oak finish."

2011 Calera Pinot Noir Ryan Vineyard

"Graceful aromas of rose petal, tea, cassis and clay accent a beautiful strawberry brick hue. This 2011 Ryan is firmly structured & intense with classic Mt Harlan mineral purity. Mouthwatering flavors of cranberry, sour cherry and calcium offer fascinating tension with the taut, well integrated tannins offering a bright and very complex wine, and definitely a candidate for cellaring."
