Size: 750ml
Type: Red Wine

Region: Bordeaux, Moulis

"Full red-ruby. Bright aromas of dark raspberry, licorice, minerals and espresso are lifted by a floral high note. Juicy, spicy and sharply delineated, with excellent energy to the ripe, complex flavors of dark berries, lead pencil and spices. This very fresh wine shows a very firm spine to support a leisurely evolution in bottle without coming across as austere today. An excellent and serious Poujeaux."

Reviewed by: Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar - 91pts

"Aromas of blueberries and raspberries with hints of flowers. Full body, with fine tannins and a clean, fresh finish. So delicious but better in 2016."

2010 Chateau Gressier Grand Poujeaux Moulis en Medoc

"A spectacular wine made by the owners of nearby and better-known Chateau Chasse-Spleen, this is a seriously endowed, dense, full-bodied wine made from an equal part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Oodles of black fruits, licorice, truffle and new saddle leather are present as well as some toasty oak. Full-bodied, deep, pure and exceptionally long in the mouth, this is a major overachiever that should drink nicely for 10-15+ years." -Robert Parker
