"Wonderful aromas of crushed blueberries, blackberries and sliced mushrooms follow through to a full body, with a dense palate and very polished tannins. A little chewy but it's a soft textured and delicious. Can't wait to try it with bottle age."

2010 Chateau de Chantegrive Graves

"A fabulous sleeper of the vintage, Chantegrive’s 2010 is the best wine I have ever tasted from this estate, which has long made very good wines that represent terrific values. An equal part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2010 exceeds all expectations. Notes of tobacco leaf, creme de cassis, barbecue smoke and loads of flesh, opulence and richness characterize this dense purple-colored wine, which is full-bodied and over-achieving. Drink it over the next decade. A major sleeper of the vintage." -Robert Parker

2003 Chateau Haut Bergey Pessac Leognan

"Dullish dark red. Coffee and mocha aromas. Moderately dense and chewy on the palate, with flavors of blackcurrant, mocha, chocolate, coffee and herbs. Seems a bit fuller in the middle than it was last year prior to the bottling. A low-acid wine with substantial tannins. Drink it over the next few years before it dries out." -Stephen Tanzer

This is a poor showing example of a 2010 Bordeaux from Pessac Leognan. I attended the 2010 UGC tasting here in Chicago, tasting many wonderful Bordeaux from this same region. I too was excited by the review, but chose to purchase one bottle first for my own review. This wine is clearly overrated as I expected much more for a 91-93 point wine. I would save my cellar space for something else and the resulting future disappointment of this wine.
