Case of 12
"The 2003 is a soft, relatively evolved style of wine. Up-front and forward, with a complex, perfumed (smoke, incense, fruitcake) style, it offers creme de cassis, cherry, plum, fig, incense, and cedar characteristics on the palate. The round, opulent attack quickly fades in the finish. Nevertheless, it possesses plenty of appeal, and is the most accessible Canon-La-Gaffeliere I have tasted." Reviewed by Robert Parker.

2011 Chateau Pavie Macquin Saint Emilion
Reviewed by: Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, 92+pts.
"This has intense crushed plum, blackberry and black currant fruit flavors rolled together, along with hefty, briary grip and lots of smoldering charcoal notes. Dense and long, delivering power on a refined structure and showing terrific anise and spice accents through the finish. One for the cellar. This estate is on a roll right now. Best from 2016 through 2028."

2011 Chateau Troplong Mondot Saint Emilion
Reviewed by: Wine Spectator - 92pts.
"The brilliant 2011 Troplong Mondot is one of the superstars of the vintage. The final blend was 89% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc, and the wine tips the scales at 14.5% alcohol. Its opaque blue/purple, nearly black color is followed by aromas of blueberry liqueur interwoven with black raspberries, blackberries, licorice, camphor and forest floor. Among the most complete wines of the vintage, with no hollowness, astringency or herbaceousness, this is a tour de force in a challenging vintage. Some tannins are noticeable, but this 2011 is already approachable and should provide delicious, complex drinking over the next two decades. Bravo!" - Robert Parker, Jr.

2011 Chateau Gracia Saint Emilion
Reviewed by: Wine Spectator - 90pts
"One of the few blockbuster wines in this vintage, Gracia’s 2011 exhibits an opaque blue/purple color along with gorgeous aromas of graphite, chalk, black currants, blueberries, camphor and a hint of truffles. Full-bodied and rich, with good acidity, this luscious St.-Emilion should drink well in 2-3 years and last for 15." - Robert Parker, Jr.
