"Vivid ruby. Ripe cherry and blackcurrant on the nose and in the mouth. Pliant and seamless in texture, with good heft and back-end energy. Finishes smooth and sweet, with fine-grained tannins providing shape and grip. Still on the young side but this wine drinks very well with an hour or so of decanting; it's an excellent value for Rioja."

"Inky ruby. Spice-accented aromas and flavors of black and blue fruits and cola, with notes of dark chocolate and licorice. Concentrated and powerful on the palate, with a spicy note building with air. Intense licorice, blackcurrant and bitter cherry notes linger on the spicy, youthfully tannic finish. Outstanding value here; there are very few all-graciano Riojas made, and they all cost a lot more than this one."

"Deep violet color. Brighter and more lithe than the 2009 version, offering fresh red berry and floral aromas and flavors and showing a touch of youthful jamminess. Lively and focused, with very good back-end clarity and lingering spiciness. Still very young but I find this delicious now."

"Attractive medium coral pink colour. Fresh notes of red berries (raspberries, strawberries) on the nose with a depth of floral and mineral sensations. Clean and fleshy in the mouth, this rosé has a lively character that makes it very refreshing. An exquisite rose with delicious flavours and a very versatile wine for all occasions."

"Deep ruby. Aromas of ripe cherry, cassis, blackberry and dark chocolate, with a touch of cola. Lush, layered and focused, with a creamy texture and hefty dark fruit flavors. Shows the ripeness of the year but there's good energy here too. Finishes with smooth tannins, a hint of licorice and very good length. I'll bet that this will be even better in a couple years but it's approachable now."

"Light gold. Scents of melon, pear, honey and anise, plus a hint of white pepper. Nervy citrus and orchard fruit flavors show a refreshingly bitter quality, with a pleasant spicy bite to the lush back end. Has heft and punch, finishing with good clarity and spicy persistence."
