2006 - Bodegas Peique Tinto Mencia Bierzo

"Bright purple. Strongly floral aromas of vibrant, mineral-accented cassis and blackberry, violet and lavender. Youthfully taut, mineral-driven red and dark berry flavors are firmed by solid but harmonious tannins. Gains sweetness with air and softens slightly but I'd give this a bit more rest before popping the cork."
