The palate has immense purity and sense of symmetry and gently grips the mouth on the long, elegant finish. If you cannot afford Contador, well, this sure as hell comes close!"

"Dark purple. Pungent dark berry and herb scents show a slight green character. Firm and on the dry side, offering concentrated blackcurrant and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of dark chocolate. I like this wine's structure and focus but would like more give. Finishes with solid grip and a late note of candied licorice. Give this some air if you're planning on drinking it any time soon."
