"The 2011 Agiorgitiko Classic, the winery's standard Nemea, was aged in French oak (approximately 40% new, the rest 2-3 years old) for ten months after tank fermentation. Those who like to compare Agiorgitiko to Pinot Noir, especially the Burgundy variety, get some comfort here. This is bright, elegant and charming, with nice aromatics and persistent flavor. It is sensual and caressing on the palate, with good integration of tannins to go with the persistent flavors and attractive aromatics. Its acidity enlivens it. It is simply the type of understated bottle that empties before you know it, and then you want more."
