"The 2010 Sela is the entry level cuvee of 95% Tempranillo and the balance Graciano from younger vines from two vineyards in Haro planted in 1992 and produced in exactly the same way as all their wines: fermentation in French oak vats where malolactic is also carried out and then aged in used French barrels, in this case for one year. This is the third vintage for Sela, which was only introduced in 2008. It has a clean nose with aromas of bright red fruit, red licorice with a lactic and spicy touch. It’s balanced, fresh, with abundant, fine tannins, easy to drink but not banal, very Roda in style. This should be a crowd-pleaser."
