Crown Royal is not a blended Scotch - it is Canadian. Being from Canada, it therefore cannot be a *blend* of 2 or more Scotch single malts. What's more, Johnnie Walker has other types of whisky beyond malt whisky in it, that being grain whisky.This stuff is quite tasty - rich with spices, dark chocolate and dried fruit, although it lacks a little punch. Try a broad selection, and decide for yourself if it's really the standard.

There is whisky, and then there is Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
They are NOT the same. (Think of the difference between Budweiser and Becks beers).
