Johnny Walker - Red

I've always like JW - Red but since they've changed the height of their 1.5 liter bottle it won't fit in my liquor cabinet so I'll be switching to Dewars.

Good, not great scotch
Reviewed by: Jim15 | November 08, 2015

This is an excellent Scotch at this price point. I prefer at much more peaty single malt but they are too heavy for my wife's palate. It is smooth and mixes well with a splash of water.

Johnnies red

For the price this scotch is exactly what you pay for. Not the quality of black or other more expensive scotches, but does leave a good after taste.

Johnnie Walker Red Label
Reviewed by: zonda600 | October 30, 2014

I don't understand the appeal of Red Label when there are better inexpensive blends out there. RL would be at the bottom of my list when discussing blends in the same price range - Dewars White Label, Ballantine's Finest, or my preference, Famous Grouse. I would argue all of the Walker's offerings are overpriced except for Black Label, but Red Label just isn't good, regardless of price.
