"Deep amber color. Butter roasted nuts, artisan cocoa, dates, and delicate brown spices. A soft, plush entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body of rich chocolate covered fruit and nuts, honeyed rye toast, and vibrant peppery spice. Finishes with a warm chocolate pecan pie, mossy wet stone, and pink peppercorn fade. Nice subtle layers of flavor make this an excellent choice for after dinner sipping."

Johnny Blue is so wonderful. From the velvet texture when it hits your tongue to when it disappears in the back of your throat when you swallow is all magical. for those who like a little burn when they swallow this scotch is not for you. Drink it the way it was designed and you will be happy. Neat opened with a touch of water and a glass of ice water on the side.

I'm not an expert, but I have always loved Blue Label. Have enjoyed this for years. I like the hint of sweetness and I really like how smooth it is.

This bottle is legendary for a reason, because its good. It's easy to pick on iconic brands like Blue Label. Oak, spice, dried fruit. cedar. citrus. honey toffee, some smoke. Smooth and warming. Everything you'd expect. Love it over ice.

80 proof - Color: light tan - Nose: weak, minty, light malt, faint peat - Taste: just like the nose, not a lot going on. slightly sweet, mild, too smooth honey and maltiness. - Finish: weak big disappointment. bottled too low in percentage ABV. too much hype over something so weak tasting. the old whiskies in it have gone beyond peaking and mellowed too much 60/100
