"Pure amber color. Buttered toast and grain, buckwheat honey, and mossy stone aromas. A silky entry leads to a dryish medium body of honey buttered wheat toast, roasted nuts, dried banana, and peppery spice. Finishes with a lingering toffee, wet stone, and spice fade. A rock solid blend."

Chivas Regal 12 year old Gift Set
"The nosing finds dry grainy notes with background scents of dried flowers and parchment, and deeper fragrances of light toffee, almond paste and yellow fruit. Entry is oily, buttery and semisweet; the whisky dazzles at midpalate with layered flavors of brown butter, cooking oil, barley malt and oatmeal cookie underpinned by the single malt foundation. Concludes smoky, satiny and ultra-sophisticated." 90-95 pts.

This is my favorite all-around blend. I find myself drinking it neat more often than not. It is a wonderful mixture of sweetness and a touch of peat smoke. It is also a great flavor calibrator, in between single malts, to help me get…Read the full review »

I love the smoothness of this product. It is delicious with mixers and equally as good without a mixer. I prefer Johnnie Walker Black Label as a staple in the house.

80 proof - Color: dark golden brown from being colored that way - Nose: peaty and smooth with hints of toffee, chocolate, and vanilla - Taste: pretty much the same as nose! Sweet Burnt toffee is my favorite part of the flavor - Finish dandy and good, smooth but not too smooth JWBK is a fine whisky for enjoying simply at bars or with friends. Its my goto because of its readily availableness. it’s a consistent affordable and respectable blend and will always have a home at my pub. 85/100
