"Off-dry malted barley and light toffee smells greet the olfactory sense along with flowery fragrances of heather, rose petal and pine. Entry features sweet grain and candied apricot tastes; the midpalate is mellow, malty, fruity (white raisins, apricots) and sophisticated. Ends on a buttery note. Remains the Speyside benchmark."

Sweet and simple.

Color: light gold. Nose: very light, floral, spice, clove, and butterscotch. Taste: bitter oak entry then creamy-oily malt. Finish: big sweet honeysuckle and honey. Glenlivet is the ubiquitous single malt. And I can live with that! Malty with more oak than you'd expect and smooth as silk.

80 proof - Color: Pale Straw - Nose: Tangerine citrus mango. cantalope and petunias - Taste: malted pinot grigio, honey lemon, light tang - Finish: no bite, smooth and cool. breezy and refreshing. one of my firsts like most people. It is a great introductory Scotch because it doesnt really offend. It is mild. It is a good summer scotch though, being light and fruity. 80/100
