"Off-dry malted barley and light toffee smells greet the olfactory sense along with flowery fragrances of heather, rose petal and pine. Entry features sweet grain and candied apricot tastes; the midpalate is mellow, malty, fruity (white raisins, apricots) and sophisticated. Ends on a buttery note. Remains the Speyside benchmark." 90-95 pts.

Speyburn 10 Year Speyside Malt

"Deep golden amber color. Honeyed nuts, cinnamon, ginger, allspice and peat aromas are intriguing. A supple entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body exotic dried fruit, melted chocolate, caramel, candied ginger, and pink peppercorns. Finishes with a spicy sweet fade with roasted grain and wet slate accents. A gutsy and peppery single malt to experiment with in cocktails."

Benromach Traditional Single Speyside Malt

A young bottling from the recently reopened Benromach. Light and bright, subtle fruit flavors, light sweetness. This is a great little summer dram, toss it over a couple of ice cubes.

80 proof - Color: Pale Straw - Nose: Tangerine citrus mango. cantalope and petunias - Taste: malted pinot grigio, honey lemon, light tang - Finish: no bite, smooth and cool. breezy and refreshing. one of my firsts like most people. It is a great introductory Scotch because it doesnt really offend. It is mild. It is a good summer scotch though, being light and fruity. 80/100
