"Bright golden amber color. Aromas of buttery caramel corn kernels, honeyed date bread, and Provence bath soap follow through on a supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with oil texture and floral honey and delicate spice fade. A pleasant sipper." Silver Medal.

Color: light amber. Nose: oak, floral, and honey. Taste: bitter oak and rather malty. On the rocks, the sweetness really comes out and the oak fades. Finish: strong honey and a slight pepperiness. Glenfiddich is drier than Glenlivet, and is the only single malt I ever pour over rocks -- ice really sweetens it. Not a bad buy.

Smooth and sweet

A good scotch at an affordable price. Has a very sweet aroma, almost like honey and goes down smooth, something for those who like blended scotch but want to take a step towards single malt. Very enjoyable to sip on and makes a very good rob roy as well.

- Color: light beer - Nose: light malt, honey, fresh fruit, mildly floral - Taste: pears and crisp lightly tart apples, malted oats, and small hints of lemon/lime zest. - Finish: decent a standard that shouldn't be ignored or passed. it's a fine whisky. crisp and refreshingly sweet, simple malt. good quality for a typical beginners Scotch. I prefer it over Glenlivet personally. the 15 Solera and 18 are also darn good for an affordable price. cheers. 81/100
