Death's Door Gin

"Clear. Aromas of cream of wheat, brown sugar, licorice, and delicate peppery spices follow through on a supple, satiny entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with citrus and peach custard and herbal juniper notes. Finishes with a vibrant anise seed, citrus marmalade on a sweet wheat cracker, and white pepper fade. A smooth, lively gin and will shine in cocktails. Gold Medal."
Made with wheat and juniper berries from Washington Island, Wisconsin.

Captive Spirits Big Gin

"Big Gin came to fruition during copious test batches—different botanics, technique, & equipment was tirelessly exploited. After time, we concluded test batch #27 was the old-world, English dry we had been searching for. With a burnt orange & juniper nose, finishing with a savory spice, Big Gin's versatile without loosing ginner appeal. Big Gin is batch distilled in our 100-gallon Vendome pot still, in a traditional manner."

Not an in-your-face pine sap experience. This is softer a bit sweeter but really an easy gin to drink neat. Most delicious~!!

Excellent Small Batch Gin October 27, 2013

Whenever I travel, I look for unique local gins. Several years ago when traveling through Washington State, someone recommended Dry Fly Gin. I purchased it and it has been a constant stable of my liquor cabinet ever since. Dry Fly is incredibly smooth with a very crisp finish and is versatile enough to be used in a martini, tom collins or gin and tonic. Of the far-too-many gins I've tried, this is easily one of my favorites.
