This is a special process whiskey that claims to attain the flavor profile that is as good if not better than most 10-12 year aged whiskey. Based on their claims this whiskey falls way short. Nose: Ethanol (alcohol). Past that nothing but sawdust, old wet wood. None of the notes that you would expect from an oak aged whiskey especially one that claims to be better that one-aged 10-12 years. No sweet note or spice notes. First impression, excellent nose, great cherry and maple notes, a hint of sweetness and slight vanilla. This will be a staple in my cabinet from now on. It would be great with a fine cigar.

Tried some recently and really enjoyed the flavor! Goes great in a Manhattan too! Now I can send some to friends out of state!
Lots of bang for the $

I'm a fan of the nuances the "speed aging" has on this Whiskey Bourbon. First off, the nose is amazing: maple, sweet wood, vanilla. Someone should make a perfume/cologne out of this scent. I would promptly lick anyone wearing it.
Taste: more maple and vanilla. Warm in a cozy way. Smooth enough to drink neat and with enough heat (100 proof) for a solid bourbon cocktail. This stuff is lots of bang for the $.
Thumbs up Cleveland Whiskey! Keep doing what you do.

Love both the Black Bourbon and the Christmas Bourbon. Both have distinctive/polished taste and a wonderful finish. My whiskey drinking friends deeply appreciate that I always keep a bottle of each on hand. And, how cool is it that these guys are making great whiskey in Cleveland?
