"The opening whiffs pick up citrus zest; aeration brings out juniper berry. The palate entry focuses totally on the juniper, and then at midpalate the lemon zest is unmistakable and adds a note of keen acidity. Finishes on the citrusy side of the street and a little bit fiery." 80-84 pts.

"Burnished copper color. Stewed prune, raisin toast, and caramelized nut aromas follow through on a soft, brisk entry to a dryish light-to-medium body with a distinct walnut fudge note. Finishes with a wet stone, raisin box, and pepper dust fade."
