"The nose is delicate, sweet short crust pastry. Marzipan and raspberry jam. Raisins. Oily on the palate, vaguely fruity, honeyed. Faintly herbal. Finishes more like a dessert wine than a whisky. Rich, creamy and filling. Visually, a very attractive whisky – rich amber and gloriously viscous. If my suspicions are correct, an earlier expression of this whisky reminded me of a Peshwari Nan. Must be shared and discussed with friends."

"Golden amber color. Aromas of honeycomb, glazed scone, heather and dried papaya follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with anise cookie powder and toasted grain notes. Finishes with a long, delicately spicy, chalk accented fade. Nicely put together." Silver Medal.

Nuanced aromas of dried ginger, vanilla salt water taffy, cereal, and beeswax follow through on a a soft, silky entry to a dryish medium body with cream, lemongrass, and brown sugar notes. "The early stage aroma is fresh, malty, yeasty/beery and honey-like; further aeration stimulates intriguing notes of nougat, milk chocolate and oaky vanilla. Palate entry offers pleasantly fruity/grainy tastes that are off-dry. Ends up semisweet, candied and even a tad sherried." 85-89 pts.
