365 | Spirits | Whiskey, Illinois

We've been big fans of Koval since we first started carrying their spirits a couple years ago. Enough time has passed, that now those spirits have turned into the first legally distilled whiskey in Chicago since prohibition. All seven are quite interesting and unique. The Wheat Whiskey has an amazing nose. Loads of banana and carmel matched nicely with just the right amount of oak.

Lion's Pride Whiskey is made from 100% Grain Bills, aged in new American Oak barrels from the Barrel Mill in Minnesota.

Chicago welcomes Koval Distillery to the fold, and they are off to a great start with this unique take on a clear spirit, made from 100% organic midwest grown wheat. Layers of banana punctuate this, soft, lightly sweet, fruity & fantastic alternative to vodka.
