"Clear. A beautiful nose of citrus with hints of peppers surrounded by layers of vanilla. Supple and smooth with a medium-full body and a long, clean finish of lemon zest, orange peel and caramel. This vodka is perfect for citrus oriented cocktails such as a Vodka Gimlet or in a stand alone cocktail such as a Vodka Martini. And with its complexity and beautiful texture, Oola Vodka is also delicious served on the rocks, perhaps with a bit of lemon or orange peel."

"Smells of brandied oranges. Palate entry is orangy/fruity and semisweet on the tip of the tongue; the midpalate taste is firmly structured in the rum base yet vibrant in a deeply orangy way. Aftertaste is softer than the flavor phase, long and slightly syrupy." 90-95 pts.

At 124 proof, this un-aged spirit was made with 66% rye, and 33% hand malted barley. The malt was lightly smoked with 60% applewood, 40% cherrywood.
