Lion's Pride Whiskey is made from 100% Grain Bills, aged in new American Oak barrels from the Barrel Mill in Minnesota.

"The initial aroma features near succulent scents of oak, baked apple and raisins but following aeration time the bouquet vanishes. Palate entry features medium-rich tastes of grape jam, plum preserves, prunes, black raisins, and treacle; at midpalate the old, dried fruit elements reach their apex right before the finish." 90-95 pts.

"We currently offer two corn whiskies (White Dog & Black Dog) made from locally-grown white corn. We feel that using white corn sets our products aside from other similar ones by imparting a sweeter, floral taste and aroma. The Black Dog is made using the same white corn except that we also "dark fire" the corn in our miniature tobacco barn, giving the product a smoky, sweet flavor similar to that of certain Scotch whiskies."
