Trends in Shoes and also in Australian Wines

I need to start jogging again. I could use the exercise. And by “again,” I mean that the last time I put serious effort into jogging, I was in high school. So I went to buy some running shoes. What's Going On?!

There's almost a mind-boggling number of events, tastings and seminars going on in the industry right now. Summer is usually a slow time for wine and other tastings, but for some reason (the economy? the weather? or maybe they're just a cheap, fun way to learn and try a lot of different things?...) nobody's taking a break this summer!
