Quadrum- The soft and fruity qualities compliment the saltiness of bacon, plus grenache’s natural acidity goes with bacon fattiness.
2010 Domaine de Piaugier Cotes du Rhone Villages Sablet- This non-agressive grenache is the perfect match to any bacon dish with it’s peppery and brawny finish.
Beers to pair with bacon:
Schlenkerla Eiche- This Doppelbock is smoked over oak and is perfect for any bacon pairing because it’s as subtle as smoke gets with these beers.
Olvisholt Brugghus Lava Smoked Imperial Stout- Binny’s beer buyer, Pat Brophy compared this beer to covering bacon in maple syrup. Yeah, you’ll just have to take our word on this one… it’s good.
