Next week, The DL Geary Brewing Co. will start supplying Binny’s with their beers. Binny’s will become the westernmost destination in the U.S where you will be able to find Geary’s brews. The east coast brewery has been brewing for almost 30 years now, making them one of the pioneers of the craft beer movement. For more history and information on Geary’s, check out their website. Binny’s will be sporting the following brews from the Portland, Maine based brewery:
Pale Ale – Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
London Porter – Faithfully recreated by Geary’s, this classic English style ale has a deep mahogany color and restrained roasted malt flavor. The result is rich and complex, yet smooth and refreshing.
Hampshire Special – Hampshire has a huge toasted malt flavor balanced by assertive hoppiness. The finish is long and lingering with the malt and hop notes blending with alcohol warmth.
IPA This is a brand new beer from Geary’s, and isn’t even listed on their website. We hear that it is pretty tasty though.
Variety Pack Three bottles of Pale Ale, London Porter, and Hampshire Ale.
Check with your local Binny’s next week if you are interested in any of these brews.
