Black Friday 2013 at Lincoln Park

It’s that time of year again!

Goose-Island-BCBS-2013

Join us at Binny’s Lincoln Park for Black Friday, November 29th. Doors open at 9am. We’ll release the 2013 batch of Goose Island’s Bourbon County Brand Stout, along with this year’s variants: Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout, Bourbon County Brand Barleywine, Backyard Rye Bourbon County Stout, & Proprietor’s Reserve.

In addition, we’ll pull some limited beer out of the cellar including Rare, King Henry, Cherry Rye, and others. Like last year, you’ll get a number when you show up (no purchase necessary) and, if your number is pulled, you’ll have the option to purchase the beer. This year’s variants will be First Come, First Served, unless quantites are too low (we’ll have plenty, so come on in). Number pulling starts at 11am.

Intelligentsia will be on hand pouring coffee in the morning, and there will be some other perks for those in line braving the cold.

See you then!

  1. Hi Adam,

Quick comment/question: I like how you are going about the release. However, it would be great if you let people know ahead of time if this year’s variants will be via. lottery system. It would be rather disappointing to wait in line for several hours only to find out when the store opens that the beers are now being purchased via. a lottery system. I don’t want to wait in line if I can just show up and get a ticket a certain time.

    Thank you in advance!

  2. So the regular Bourbon County Stout will only be available based on lottery so even if you are first in line you are not garunteed a purchase?

  3. Will it also be available at suburban locations on Friday, specifically Highland Park? Even if it’s just BCBS and coffee it’d be great to know, thanks.
